For the price, I can’t complain too much.
This head unit isn’t meant for audiophiles, so keep that in mind. If you’re very particular about sound quality, look elsewhere. However, if you appreciate good enough sound, this will do the job.

I’m really impressed with the sound quality and ease of use. I connected it to two Pioneer 5.25 25W nominal speakers in my F100, and it sounds fantastic for such an affordable setup.

Poor quality.

I purchased this to replace the deck in my camping trailer. I had to create a cover for the large hole left by the original deck, but aside from that, the installation was pretty straightforward. I wasn’t aiming for top-notch sound quality, just something to enjoy music while camping, and it delivers clear audio without a tinny sound. The USB feature is exactly what I wanted—much more practical than CDs these days. The operation is intuitive; I didn’t even need to consult the manual. I haven’t used the Bluetooth, but I suppose I could take calls hands-free while in the trailer. There’s also an app you can download to control the deck, and it works flawlessly with my Android phone. No setup was necessary; just open the app and go. You can manage everything from the app, even power it on and off from outside the trailer. Overall, I think this is an excellent value for my needs.

Replacing the JDM radio in my Subaru Sambar kei truck was a breeze, especially with the Scosche connector for the OEM setup. This mechless unit is lightweight, and the included sleeve keeps it securely in place. The AM and FM sensitivity is impressive; I’m picking up a lot of distant stations even with a not-fully-extended whip antenna. The volume is abundant in the small cab, ranging from silent to ear-piercing through the 4-ohm Cerwin-Vega 4×6 speakers.
One minor issue is that the phone voice pickup can sound ‘boomy’ or ‘muddy,’ but considering the large glass and steel surfaces in the cab, that’s somewhat expected. It plays audio files from my phone, stereo wire, and USB stick flawlessly, alongside AM/FM radio. Plus, it can deliver up to 1A charging through the USB port. While it lacks features like color change, a clock, a wireless remote (which could easily be lost), or a temperature gauge, it effectively covers all the essentials at a high level. The robust buttons provide a satisfying tactile feel.
With decent to above-average audio quality, it offers four preset EQ settings and separate adjustments for front-rear, left-right, and bass-treble, allowing for customization. At this price point, boasting 12 AM and 18 FM presets, this compact unit is a fantastic choice. I’m really pleased I went with this one.

The price is incredibly appealing, and this unit is impressively well-designed. The clarity and volume are outstanding, even in my 1999 Dodge Ram with its outdated factory speakers. Bluetooth connects instantly and seamlessly, and it has worked flawlessly so far. I keep a USB flash drive plugged into the front USB port for easy access to great albums without needing to touch my phone. Unlike other USB players I’ve tried, this model features dedicated buttons for navigating between file folders, allows you to seek through tracks, and displays both the folder name and file name on the screen—fantastic characteristics when you have hundreds of songs on a single drive. There’s a mute button, and the play/pause function works for both USB and Bluetooth modes. There are no complicated menus; the front buttons let you control nearly everything, including switching input modes with a single press, aside from adjusting sound levels and a few minor settings within a straightforward menu. The volume knob has a nice range of increments—not so high that you can’t find a comfortable level, but not so low that you have to turn it excessively. FM and AM reception are excellent, even with an aftermarket stubby antenna. The blue display is fixed in color and brightness, but I’m very satisfied with both as they are. I installed it by soldering and shrink-wrapping to an aftermarket harness—it was my choice; you have other options, but the concise user manual provided all the wiring information I needed. I would be thrilled with this unit even at double the price; it offers a unique combination of features, usability, design, performance, and value. Unless you need specific features like adjustable illumination color, crave high audio power without separate amplification, or are very particular about sound quality, you can’t go wrong with this unit. Compared to using an FM transmitter (which costs about the same), this upgrade is a significant improvement over your factory radio.
A few technical details: power output is 14W RMS/50W peak per channel at 4 ohms. The front USB port charges at 1A. There’s a front 3.5mm headphone jack input and a stereo RCA preamp output on the back. The box states it plays MP3s (the only format I tested), so I assume it doesn’t support FLAC, AAC, etc., since those formats aren’t mentioned. Happy hunting!

I bought this compact Jensen unit to replace the factory head unit in a friend’s 2006 Hyundai Tucson. I quickly made a harness/adaptor before installation day, and once the old unit was removed, it took just a few minutes to complete the job! It fits and works flawlessly, with amazing sound quality. Just a heads-up: it’s much more powerful than the original head unit, and I accidentally blew the front driver’s side speaker while testing it—oops! No worries, though; even a couple of affordable replacements will nicely finish off the upgrade.

Functions well. The unit is surprisingly shallow, measuring only about 2 inches deep. The sound quality is decent, though it won’t be overwhelming. Installation and usability are straightforward.

I purchased this unit to replace a Sony aftermarket stereo in my 2006 Subaru Outback, and this was my first experience with wiring a stereo. The process was straightforward, and it worked perfectly on the first try. The existing harness, which appeared to be connected to the original Subaru harness, had all the necessary wires except for the ground, which came with a separate harness. For installation, you can either solder the wires and use shrink tubing or opt for crimp-on butt splices, which are easier for beginners. Once that’s done, it’s just a matter of matching the colors. The sound quality is decent, and the Bluetooth connection is quick and reliable.
